"I became resolutely devoted to her - the good I persistently strove for. I burned with desire for her, never turning back. I became preoccupied with her, never weary of extolling her…For her I purified my hands; in cleanness I attained her. At first acquaintance with her, I gained understanding such that I will never forsake her." Sir 51:18-19b, 20
06/01/2013. It's time. I love you Brittany.
How could I possibly do a better job of explaining their relationship than Tony already has by this simple post? To say being chosen as their wedding photographers was an honor is an understatement. As I sit here trying to put their day into words, I am having a difficult time. Anybody that witnessed their ceremony will understand. Tony and Brittany are immensely in love with Jesus. The love they have for Christ is manifested in their relationship with each other. Brittany was absolutely radiating with joy, and all you could see on Tony's face was unconditional love for his bride.
As the day started, both Brittany and Tony were showing nervousness. Their nerves had nothing to do with the stereotypes. They were nervous of the wedding starting late! That's how excited they were to be married.
I always say I hate talking about the weather, but can we just talk about the weather for a minute? The day of Tony & Brittany's wedding, there were severe thunderstorm watches in effect. Of course, the thunderstorms were predicted to start right after the ceremony during our photo time. Scott prayed the entire afternoon, for the weather to hold out and guess what? God worked His wonders and the weather forecasters were wrong! We were able to do our outdoor photos at Western Reserve Academy. While we're speaking of God's amazingness...
By the time the reception came, everybody was ready to celebrate Tony & Brittany.
To honor his Chinese roots, Tony & Brittany opted to perform a Tea Ceremony as part of the traditional Chinese Marriage Ceremony. Serving tea may seem like a simple act, but to understand the meaning behind this Chinese custom is beautiful. As they passed tea to symbolically bring Brittany into the family, Tony's parents gave gifts and red envelopes for wishes of luck to their son and his new bride.
Every little girl dreams about their wedding day. They may have no idea who they are going to marry, but they know they will dance with their daddy. During Brittany's dance with her father, her sisters expressions were so precious to capture.
LCA Signature Shows really had everybody moving and having a great time!
