Engaged: Natalie+Zach - Edgewater Beach, Cleveland

There is nothing like planning the perfect first date only to have it blow up in your face.  Downloading music you think she likes that you hate.  Planning to get ice cream, only to find out she doesn't like ice cream.  This is exactly what happened to Zach.  Lucky for him, the fact that he tried so much to impress Natalie just made her fall for him.

It's always really special to me when a couple takes me to a spot that's meaningful to them for their engagement photos.  When we arrived at Edgewater Beach, I found out that this was the spot where Zach proposed to Natalie.  It seems Zach is destined to have carefully thought out plans blow up in his face.  The day he planned to propose turned out to be the day that Captain America 2 started filming in downtown Cleveland and getting to Edgewater was something of a miracle.  But, get there they did and once there, Zach asked Natalie to marry him right under the willow tree.  How sweet is that?

Being that Zach was involved in the engagement session, do you think things turned out easy?  Absolutely not!  (Had to tease you a little bit there, Zach)  The day we planned their engagement session there was a big fireworks show going on at Edgewater Beach, and where he proposed to Natalie was barricaded off.  It certainly turned into a beautiful evening though and I'm so glad I got to spend this time with them.  They are totally my kind of people.  They love New Girl and The Walking Dead, just like me.  I can't wait to be a part of their wedding day and just know there are going to be tears.
