Ashley and Dave are an unbelievably sweet couple and we hit it off from the first moment we met. We started the day at the salon getting Ashley ready with her trail hair and makeup before the engagement photos. Now, that's one smart girl to do her trial run on the same day as their engagement session. Dave was such a sport waiting with us at the salon. There were times he would look up at her and I could just see his heart as he did.
We headed over to Coe Lake in Berea, OH for the engagement photos on a gorgeous day. Fathers were fishing with their children. Friends were rowing in canoes along the lake. A few were reading in the shade or just looking over the lake. Dave is a fishing kind of guy and you can just tell that even without a fishing pole in his hand, the water calms him.
Dave enjoyed having any reason to kiss Ashley. The way Ashley can snuggle into him and he can be Ashley's strength was beautiful to witness.
Ashley, you are fierce. Gorgeous.
I can't wait for their wedding day. Seeing just a sneak of their love for each other on their engagement session has made me look forward to capturing their wedding that much more. Thank you, Ashley and Dave for choosing me to be the person to capture it.
