Irish and Catholic. Wedding number 3 with Colleen of Colleen Reed Photography meant a good time. Colleen has some really fun clients and Melissa and Kirk were no exception. Like always when I second shoot, I never know what I'm walking into until I get there. I was pleasantly surprised to find that a friend of ours, Fr. Patrick Anderson, was the priest presiding over Melissa and Kirk's wedding. It's a special thing to watch a friend preside in joining two people in holy matrimony, and he did a beautiful job.
Between the ceremony and reception, Melissa and Kirk wanted to use as much time as they could enjoying the company of their wedding party. They didn't want to spend tons of time on formal photos, but instead wanted a very candid photo experience downtown. We headed to East 4th St. for photos, but instead of what you normally see we headed inside Flannery's Pub, where Melissa and Kirk shared drinks and laughter with their wedding party. We even made a few new friends. It was unique and seemed to fit them completely. By the time the reception came, this group was ready for fun!
Ceremony: St. Philomena Church - East Cleveland
Reception: The Banquet Center at St. Noel - Willoughby

Blessings,
Laura
