It's Christmas Card and Mini Session Time

15 November 2011

Wow!  It's been awhile since I wrote.  Life has been insane!  My lil man has been so sick for over a week now and I've been cooped up in the house trying to get his fever down, but I wanted to make sure I posted today.
Can you believe Thanksgiving is next week?!?  Christmas is only 39 days away and with Thanksgiving next week, I'm started to freak out about getting my Christmas cards sent out.  Is anybody with me?  So, who needs Christmas photos?  I have only 8 mini sessions left, so get them while you can.

For those that didn't see last month's mini session post, a mini session is just what it sounds like.  Instead of the normal 2 hour session, a mini session is 30 minutes, which gives just enough time to keep the kids attention and get those Christmas photos.

Mini Session Details:
  • Cost of $50.00
  • 30 minute on location photo session
  • 6-8 final images
  • DVD of high resolution images with all final images and printing rights
  • Online password protected gallery of the images to share with family and friends
Want me to design your Christmas card with the photos we take at our session? I can do that too.
  • 25 custom designed printed holiday cards - $60.00
  • JPG of card design for you to use to print your own cards - $20.00
Print packages are also available. Dates are limited, so contact me for details and to book your shoot today!

K's 3rd Birthday - Northeast Ohio Children's Photographer

25 October 2011

Is this little man adorable, or what?

I couldn't pick a few favorites so there are lots of photos in this post, but who doesn't love seeing cute kids!?  I actually got to photograph him on his real birthday and he was so much fun.  This little man's laugh is infectious.  He loves animals and is so smart.  We made all kinds of animal noises in the park that I'm sure the animals were scared away by his tiger roar!

Holiday Mini Session Special for October

18 October 2011

Who’s ready for fall photos?  I am!

What’s a mini session you ask?  It’s a taste of my normal 2 hour session that takes place in 30 minutes.  Just enough time to get the photos you want for holiday cards and still keep the kiddos attention.  I’ll be running this special twice.  Once this month and once next month, so take advantage of it now!

Mini Session Details:
  • Cost of $50.00
  • 30 minute on location photo session
  • 6-8 final images
  • DVD of high resolution images with all final images and printing rights
  • Online password protected gallery of the images to share with family and friends

The K. Family - Northeast Ohio Baby Photographer

13 October 2011

Meeting the K. family was exciting. I think that when we met and mom and I were wearing matching outfits, it was a sign that they chose me to do their daughter's photos. This adorable little girl turned 1 last month, and I couldn't be more pleased that I was asked to take her 1 year photos.

She knew exactly what we were trying to do and her little personality took charge. I love seeing young children's personalities take form. Their personalities shine through at such a young age.

Isn't this smile adorable? She is such a happy baby. She and her mommy are going to be great friends. There's so much love in their photos

The leaves are starting to turn and the park we chose to use for the photos didn't disappoint. Thank you K. family. Your little family is beautiful.

Kostal Family - Northeast Ohio Family Photographer

28 September 2011

The weekend turned out beautifully.  It didn't rain and the sun was shining.  I also got to photograph a beautiful family of 6!  I love large families.  Maybe it's because I want a large family of my own :)

Trying to coordinate a large family can be difficult on parents.  The Kostal family is full of great kids.  The older two were so helpful with the younger 2.  That little man in the front loved being in front of the camera and that beautiful sweet baby girl was just too cute for words.  Not that I needed any...she is quite the conversationalist :)

Thank you Kostal family for letting me capture you.

What to Wear to Your Fall Family Photo Shoot

26 September 2011

I noticed this weekend that the leaves are starting to change.  Yes, I know it's officially fall, but it just happened so quickly!  That being said, fall family photo sessions are right around the corner.  Does anybody else find it difficult to dress the family for a photo session?  You don't want to be too matchy matchy, but you want to look coordinated and cute.  How about some help from a photographer?
Fall Family Shoot

This is a set I made on www.polyvore.com. If you click on the picture, it should bring up all the details on where to buy.  Polyvore is a great site to pull together inspiration.

My tips for you?
  • Dress in what makes you feel beautiful and comfortable at the same time.
  • Don't dress too matchy matchy.  Pull colors from each other's outfits to coordinate
  • Dress for the season and the weather.
Otherwise, it's a free for all in my eyes because really, it's not the clothing that matters in your photos, it's capturing your family.

Nic & Pam - Northeast Ohio Family Photographer

21 September 2011

Many people have already seen these photos because I was way too excited to wait until today to post them.  So, Facebook peeps, you got a nice sneak.

Recently, a friend that I work with asked me to come out and photographer her son.  These 2 people are some of the busiest people I know.  Pam is super involved in her church, relay for life, works full time, is a single mom, and is majorly involved in her son's activities.  Nic loves music and plays multiple instruments, is in band, takes lessons, is involved with church...oh, and is working on making Eagle Scout.  From my understanding, becoming an Eagle Scout is crazy hard and takes major dedication.  The point of all this is that they really haven't had time to get photos taken in a couple of years, so I was really excited that Pam asked me.

Would anybody guess that this guy is 13?  Nic is the most mature 13 year old I have ever met.  I know he's going to accomplish so much in life.  I hope you enjoy every moment of his teenage years, Pam.

J's 9 Month Photos- Hudson Baby Photographer

22 July 2011

Okay, the Gordyan's are some great people that we love to pieces.  You see, I met Russ the same weekend I met my husband.  If it weren't for him, I probably never would have had the opportunity to meet Scott.  So, when he met Melissa and they got married, we couldn't have been more happy for them.  Then, along came J.
Meet J.

Doesn't he just look like the life of the party?  He's so happy!  It's going to be fun to watch him grow.  Here's to years of our kid's playing together, Gordyan's!
