Engaged: Carolyn+Rick - Wallace Lake

I have known Carolyn since she was in high school.  Not only was she a teen in our Life Teen program, but she was a part of Scott and my small group.  Since Scott and I led this group together, we had this ongoing joke that the teens in our group were our kids.  They even called us mom and dad.  So, you can imagine how special it is for us that Carolyn and Rick asked us to photograph their wedding.  She was a part of the beginning of our relationship, and now we get to be a part of the beginning of hers.

Carolyn and Rick met while on retreat, and after years of friendship, they finally realized how perfect they were for each other.  I just love when God brings people together through their faith.  While we don't know Rick all that well yet, we do know that he adores Carolyn, which we love seeing.  We also know that he is kind of man that wants to have a marriage rooted in faith.  They are so unbelievably sweet together.

Carolyn and Rick, we couldn't be happier for you and can't wait to grow with you in friendship over the years.  Thank you for choosing us to be a part of such a special moment in your lives.
